4/17/2014: Wednesday was the final day of the NBA regular season and now the playoff brackets are set. After deciding to rest their starters in their loss to the 76ers last night the defending NBA Champion Miami Heat will be the two seed in the East and will go up against the Charlotte Bobcats on Sunday where tickets are averaging $209.

4/16/2014: This season will be only the second time that the Miami Heat will not be the top seed in the Eastern Conference since Lebron James took his talents to South Beach, having won it the previous two years. Additionally this is their lowest win total since coming together to form the Big Three but much of that can be attributed to injuries and the strategic resting of players so they can be healthy for the playoffs. Tonight the Heat will close out the regular season against the Philadelphia 76ers.

4/15/2014: The Miami Heat will finish their regular season playing the same team it began it against, the Philadelphia 76ers. The Heat will be one of the top two seeds in the East regardless of the outcome of this game and when they begin postseason play on Friday Heat tickets will be going for $213 on average.

4/14/2014: On Saturday the Miami Heat suffered a very bad loss to the Atlanta Hawks 98-85. The 13 point loss itself wasn’t all that bad, rather it was the fact that the Heat now no longer control their own destiny for the #1 seed in the Eastern Conference and more importantly home court advantage in the playoffs. The Heat will have to win tonight against the Wizards and hope that the Indiana Pacers stumble in one of their two remaining games.

4/11/2014: Tonight could be the Miami Heats biggest game of the season as there are high stakes riding on the outcome of it. The Heat will play the Indiana Pacers whom they trail by ½ a game for the top seed and home court in the East and can leapfrog them tonight when the two teams square off in a very likely preview of the Eastern Conference Finals as Miami Heat tickets will be going for $364 on average.

4/10/2014: The Miami Heat came into last nights game against the Memphis Grizzlies fresh off a loss to the Brooklyn Nets in which Lebron James got blocked on a dunk attempt as time expired. James, trying to make amends for not being able to seal the deal the night before went off dropping 38 to go along with 6 boards and 5 assists but that wasn’t enough as they lost their second game in a row 107-102.

4/9/2014: No matter what happens the Miami Heat can not figure out a way to beat the Brooklyn Nets this season as they lost for the fourth and final time last night 88-87. The Nets pulled the season sweep against the Heat when Mason Plumlee rose up to block Lebron James dunk attempt as time expired to earn the one point victory. Tonight Miami looks to regain their composure when they play at the Memphis Grizzlies as Heat tickets average $169.

4/8/2014: The Miami Heat have beaten just about everyone this year, that is except for the Brooklyn Nets. The Nets have played the Heat three times this season and three times they have came away with the victory which Lebron James hopes to change when they meet up for the fourth and final time tonight with Heat tickets averaging $182.

4/7/2014: The Miami Heat faced off against the New York Knicks in Sundays game of the day. These two teams are on opposite sides of the playoff picture with the Heat securely entrenched as the top seed in the East while the struggling Knicks are all but dead in the hunt to catch the Atlanta Hawks for the eighth and final playoff spot. The Heat proved to just be too much for the Knicks despite JR Smith having a career night with 10 three pointers in the game, beating New York 102-91.

4/4/2014: Lebron James and company will square off against Kevin Love and the Minnesota Timberwolves Friday night in Miami. The Heat have beaten Minnesota seven straight times and look to make that eight in a row tonight which will see Miami Heat tickets going for $186 on average.

4/3/2014: The Miami Heat are obviously the best team in the Eastern Conference and showed just how much of a gap lies between them and the worst team in the East, the Milwaukee Bucks. This game was never really in question as the Heat outscored the Bucks in every quarter of the game to give them a 96-77 victory in South Beach last night.

4/2/2014: The Miami Heat are the top dogs in the Eastern Conference and will make the path to the NBA Finals run through Miami when the Playoffs tip off in a few days. Tonight the Heat play the worst team in the league, the Milwaukee Bucks who have a league low 14 wins; to put that in comparison the Heat had that many wins by December 1st.

4/1/2014: Yesterday was a big day for the Miami Heat as they were able to overtake the Indiana Pacers for first place in the Eastern Conference when beating the Toronto Raptors 93 to 83. The Miami Heat now have the best record in the East and home-court advantage when the playoffs roll around in the upcoming days.

3/28/2014: Tonight the Miami Heat will go on the road to battle the Detroit Pistons and get back on track after a disappointing March so far. The Heat lost their last game when they were out matched by the Indiana Pacers who used their fantastic depth to overcome the two time defending NBA Champion Heat on Wednesday night.

3/27/14: Last night the Miami Heat had one of their toughest challenges to date, to go into Bankers Life Fieldhouse and beat the very good Indiana Pacers. This game went back and forth for much of the game and thanks to David West the Pacers came out on top. West was able to hit a crucial three pointer with under 1 minute left to put the Pacers up but what makes this really surprising is that this was only his fourth made three point attempt of the season. Tonight the Heat hope to bounce back when they play the Detroit Pistons.

3/26/14: In the game of the night the Eastern Conference leading Indiana Pacers will host the team looking to jump them in the standings, the Miami Heat. These two teams met in the Eastern Conference Finals last season and appear to be headed right back there again in a rematch, but only this time the Pacers will have home court it things stay the way they currently are. The Heat would love steal this game on the road putting them that much closer to leapfrogging the Pacers for home court come playoff time.

3/25/14 - Last night’s game between the Portland Trail Blazers and Miami Heat was one far and away the game of the night. The Heat needed an entire team effort to earn the victory as they had LeBron James drop 32 and the go ahead basket with Chris Bosh sealing the game with a last second block of Damian Lillard’s shot. The Heat will now look towards their huge matchup with the Eastern Conference leading Indiana Pacers.

3/24/14: Miami Heat - On Saturday the New Orleans Pelicans were just too much for the struggling Miami Heat who lost their 7th game out of their last 11 games. The Heat will need to fix whatever has been causing them to slip these past few games as they gear up for a playoff run with the hope of making it to their fourth straight NBA Finals. Tonight they will host the talented Portland Trail Blazers as they look to avoid dropping two games in a row.

3/21/14: The Heat will host the Memphis Grizzlies tonight at 7:30pm at the American Airlines Arena. They will then head on the road for a matchup Saturday evening against the New Orleans Pelicans. The Heat look to bounce back from their loss two days ago to the Boston Celtics.

3/20/14: The Heat dropped a tough one on the road last night, succumbing to the Boston Celtics 101-96. Rajon Rondo had 15 assists and Avery Bradley added 23 points as the leading scorer as the Heat fell for the sixth time in nine games. Chris Bosh led the game with eleven rebounds.

3/19/14: LeBron James dropped 43 points on his former team last night as the Miami Heat held on for a four point victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers, 100-96. The Heat led by 12 after the first quarter, but relinquished that lead by the time the 4th quarter began, but LeBron was able to lead the team to a big road victory as they try to break from their recent losing ways.

3/18/14: The Miami Heat will be in Cleveland tonight for a matchup against the Cleveland Cavaliers. LeBron James has returned to face his former team a number of times already, but this is always a premier matchup for Cavs fans year in and year out. The heat have been struggling a bit of late and look to win their second straight game after losing five of six previously.

3/17/14: The Heat bounced back yesterday in a nationally televised game, defeating the Houston Rockets 113-104, to move to 45-19 on the year and 26-6 at home. Ray Allen scored 14 of his 25 points in the fourth quarter as the Heat outscored the Rockets 34-23 in the final 12 minutes to win a closely contested game. LeBron and Wade both added 24 points.

3/14/14: The Miami Heat host the Denver Nuggets tonight. Tickets are still available for as low as $35 for the 7:30pm start. The Heat are reeling a bit having lost four of their past five games, though three of them were on the road and only one game was decided by more than three points in regulation.

Miami Heat

3/13/14: The Heat lost to the Brooklyn Nets last night in Miami, 96-95. Paul Pierce led all scorers with 29 while Mario Chalmers of all players, led in rebounding with 9 and Deron Williams led with 8 assists. The Heat get a day off before the host the Denver Nuggets Friday night.
