Since its Broadway premiere in 2005, Jersey Boys has won over audiences across the globe.  This dynamic musical traces the career of the world-famous singing group The Four Seasons, consisting of Frankie Valli and three other New Jersey natives who together scored a variety of pop hits during the 1960s.  Made with the cooperation of the band’s surviving members, the production is peppered with several of the group’s biggest hits, and it follows the unusual narrative device of dividing the show into four separate sections, each of which presents the band’s history from the perspective of a different Four Seasons singer.

The Broadway opening took place at the August Wilson Theatre on November 6, 2005, and the show immediately attracted raves from critics and the public alike.  Jersey Boys would later win the 2006 Tony Award for Best Musical, and its Broadway run has yet to end.  This stage phenomenon has spread beyond the stages of New York, spawning a national tour in 2006 as well as a subsequent West End (London) production that was honored with the Laurence Olivier Award for Best New Musical.
