    What if I told you there was a teenage guitarist who played like B.B. King and Jimi Hendrix? Who could play for two hours and not be done with his surprises? And who sang with a capable, compelling baritone, too? He exists: I'm describing Christone "Kingfish" Ingram, the 16-year-old Mississippi blues boy who's setting the scene on fire. "Everybody wanna know, why I sing the blues," he sang to open the first of his two hour-long sets about the Portland Spirit's DME Blues Cruise on Thursday, and "because he's fantastic at it" would be a convincing answer.

    In 2012 Alex Musso was an economics major at Lafayette College but his passion was music when he formed a trio with fraternity borthers Zach Gold, a biochemistry major and guitarist, and Joey Tumulty, a civil enginneering major and pianist. Rooted in blues, folk and soul, the band named itself the Hoochie Coochie Men after the famous Muddy Waters song.
